10. Nathan Lane is back!
After leaving the Broadway production of It’s Only a Play to star in The Iceman Cometh at BAM, Nathan Lane will be returning to his role opposite Matthew Broderick beginning March 31. So if you missed him the first time, now’s your chance!

9. Donna McKechnie will be Chita’s standby in The Visit
In the upcoming Broadway revival of The Visit starring Chita Rivera, Donna McKechnie will be standing by for Rivera’s role as “Claire”. The Visit is arriving on Broadway after its out-of-town tryout in Williamstown, and will begin previews March 26.

8. Casting announced for Sarsgaard Hamlet
Producers announced the casting this week for the upcoming production of Hamlet with Peter Sarsgaard in the title role. The Shakespeare play will begin performances at Classic Stage Company beginning March 27.

7. Jonathan Groff takes on King George
Star of stage and screen Jonathan Groff will join the Public Theater’s production of Hamilton in the role of “King George” beginning March 3. Groff most recently appeared on the small screen in the second season of the hit HBO series “Looking”.

The smash-hit Lin-Manuel Miranda musical Hamilton will officially move to Broadway this summer. Producers decided not to rush the production in order to make it in time for this year’s Tony Awards. Instead, the musical will be eligible for the 2016 awards.

The Pulitzer Prize winning play Disgraced ended its Broadway run this past Sunday. The show featured Gretchen Mol and Hari Dhillon in the lead roles.

4. Disney’s latest stage musical is…
Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame begins previews this Wednesday at the Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey. The new stage adaptation is expected to be Disney’s next Broadway arrival if all things go well out of town.
