From Pippin to Romeo & Juliet  2013 saw its share of successes and flops.  Let’s look back at some of the  shows that closed, whether we wanted them to, or prayed for them to, we shall miss you! (some of you!)

Evita

While it might not have starred Mandy Patinkin and Patti LuPone as in the original 1979 production, it still made a pretty good showing.  With the star power of Ricky Martin and the talents of Michael Cerveris, Elena Roger, Christina DeCicco,  Max Von Essen, and Rachel Potter, Evita pleased audiences for about 11 months.
