New photos of the stars of Disney’s new musical comedy Aladdin Adam Jacobs (Aladdin), Courtney Reed (Jasmine) and James Monroe Iglehart (Genie), plus a sneak peek at just a few of the nearly 350 original costumes designed for the show by two-time Tony Award® winner Gregg Barnes, are now available.  A behind-the-scenes video from the photo shoot is also available.  Aladdin, which begins performances at the New Amsterdam Theatre (214 W 42^nd St.) on February 26^th prior to a March 20 opening, features music by Tony Award  and eight-time Oscar® winner Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, Sister Act), lyrics by two-time Oscar winner Howard Ashman (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid), three-time Tony Award and three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice (Evita, Aida) and two-time Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer), with a book by Beguelin, and is directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon).  Aladdin is produced by Disney Theatrical Productions.
